Peter Galassi, Chief Curator, Department of Photography, The Museum of Modern Art, will provide an overview of the exhibition "Henri Cartier-Bresson: The Modern Century," which opens to the public on Saturday, February 19.
Henri Cartier-Bresson (1908-2004) is one of the most original, accomplished, influential, and beloved figures in the history of photography. For more than twenty-five years he was the keenest observer of the global theatre of human affairs—and one of the great portraitists of the twentieth century.

We HIGHLY recommend this! Yesterday a couple of us from Arts Across Georgia were treated to a pre-opening walk and talk with Galassi. It was fascinating, just like the exhibit. He is a walking fount of knowledge... no one could stump him. We'll be going back to see the exhibit.
